3D Platformer Prototype - Chain Tower
A downloadable game
This is a 3D platformer prototype with unfinished everything that focuses on momentum based movement. The character model and all animations are placeholders (it will not be a high school anime girl in the final project).
Note: Please set your monitor to 60fps at most as there are bugs above that framerate.
Moveset (Xbox Controller):
Move - Left Joystick
Camera - Right Joystick
Kick Attack - X (on ground)
Jump - A (on ground)
Crouch - LT (on ground)
Backflip - LT + A (while crouching)
Boosted Jump - A (when landing from backflip)
Slide - LT + Pointing Left Joystick
Slide Jump - A (when sliding) [Will bonk into walls]
Somersault High Jump - A (when the slide turns yellow at its end)
Side Flip - A + Flick Joystick
Ultra Side Flip - A + Flick Joystick (when the slide turns yellow at its end)
Stomp - L2 (in mid-air)
Rebound Jump - A (within 0.3 seconds of landing a stomp on the ground)
Dive Kick - X (while stomping) [Will bonk into walls]
Air Kick - X (in mid-air)
Wall Jump - (triggered when air kick hits wall in mid air. Can be done up to 4 times)
Chain Swing - Hold R2 (while in mid-air) [Will bonk into walls]
Chain Launch - Release R2 (while in chain swing - the speed you have while swinging will transfer to the launch)
Chain Swing Kick - X (while in chain swing) [Gives a temporary speed boost and will wall jump if it collides with a wall without using one of the 4 air kicks)
Ledge Vault - A (when hanging on a ledge)
